What does Half Hollow Hills School District need as documentation showing payments made?
Medicare paid as reduction in Social Security
When you and/or your spouse are receiving Social Security, it is a tax reporting requirement that the Social Security Administration send a form SSA-1099 by January 31 of the following year. On the 2023 Form will be listed the total amount deducted from your Social Security Pension for Medicare Part B Premiums for 2023.
A copy of the 2023 form SSA-1099s will satisfy the requirement for documentation of what you paid for Medicare Part B Premiums during 2023. If you and your spouse are eligible, please include documentation for both of you.
