My name is Maura Tanabe and I am the school counselor at HFSM.
A little about me...
I graduated with my bachelors degree in psychology from the University of St. Thomas in 2002. I earned my doctorate in School Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 2012. Throughout my time in graduate school I worked throughout the Twin Cities metro area. I also worked for a couple of years in the Birmingham Public Schools outside of Detroit, Michigan. I hold a North Dakota and national licenses in school psychology.
My husband and I have been married since 2004. We have 4 amazing boys. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, running, good food, watching movies and TV, and traveling.
