Technology

Welcome to Technology at

   Holy Family Regional Catholic School

Mission:  The mission of the Elementary Technology Curriculum Committee of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia is to empower teachers and students to use technology to become digital citizens, knowledge constructors, creative communicators, computational thinkers, innovative designers, and global collaborators.

Please purchase a HEADSET!

ALL STUDENTS need to have their own headset for computer use.  Students in grades 4-8 will lose class points for not having a headset for class.

Please send in an individual headset in a gallon Ziplock bag labeled with their name for your child to use for activities and curriculum on the Chromebooks, iPads and computers. Open the package at home and ensure your child can put the headset on. Headsets do not need to be expensive, but should be durable. Standard jack headsets will work best. Headsets should not be wireless or Bluetooth.  Earbuds are not appropriate for grades PreK-2.

Chromebooks

1:1 Chromebooks are provided for grades 3-8.  Families will once again have the opportunity to purchase insurance on the device for accidental damage.  Devices remain in the building.  Please look for information in the Nicky Folder.

Google Classroom

Students in grades 3-8 should utilize Google Classroom as their learning management system.  Please refer there often for assignments.

Seesaw

Students in grades K-2 may use Seesaw for homework and resources for families.  Please check the Nicky Folder for information to log in.
