A Little About Me...

Hello!  I am Mrs. King and this is my 16th year teaching.  This is my fifth year teaching 2nd grade and I love working with this age!  I started off teaching 6th grade, then moved to 5th grade for four years, then to 3rd, 1st, and now  2nd.  I do enjoy all ages and find each grade level is unique from one another, so it can be fun to move around and continue to grow as an educator.

I have two children of my own. My daughter is 13 (geez louise I have a teenager) and my son is 10.  My husband, Mr. King, is going on his 5th year of teaching 8th grade science. He is my hero teaching middle school!

As a family we enjoy going to the drive-in theater, geocaching, playing sports, playing games, jumping on the trampoline, swimming, traveling, fishing, and going on bike rides and walks.  Time together is what's most important, no matter what we are doing.

Candy: Peanut M & Ms (once I start, I can't stop eating these) & Red Vines

Color: Blue

Meal: Pizza & Chicken Wings

Drink: Iced Mocha, Pepsi, and Pink Lemonade

Snack: Hot Cheetos Limon Style

Game: Throw Throw Burrito, Throw Throw Avocado, & Scrabble

Hobbies on my own: exercise, puzzles, reading, piano, gardening
