Suicide Awareness Month

As we enter suicide awareness month, the Division of Student and Family Supports wants to provide every school district with a visual reminder for youth and a quick way to increase access to professional crisis support.

Here are two resources available to all youth and staff in need:

• The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 800-273-8255

  • This resource is available 24/7 and is free and confidential.

• The TN Statewide Crisis Line: 855-274-7471  

  • All calls are routed to a trained crisis counselor in your area, who will provide you with support and guidance, and work to connect you with appropriate community supports.
