Hello,
My name is Sarah Gale and I am so proud and excited to be teaching Class 2-3 this year. I look forward to many wonderful adventures together as we grow and learn. I will work hard to make sure that this is a year that the students won't forget!
As for me, I have always loved learning and teaching. I was that child who would wait all summer for the happy day when I would be back at school. I would have my binders organized and my pencils sharpened in July, just ready to go. I have been lucky to have many wonderful teachers in my life who have motivated and inspired me. I feel privileged that I have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children every day.
Outside of school, I am a wife and mother. I have three children, Owen (13), Conor (8), and Nora (almost 6). They are the lights of my life! My oldest son, Owen has taught me more about teaching and learning than anything else in my life. He was born with Down syndrome. Owen works so hard to achieve many of the things that others may take for granted. His persistence, hard work and joyfulness inspire me every day. Much of my time outside of work is dedicated to working with other families who have children with special needs. It is another passion in my life. Conor is my little firecracker, who is full of mischief and energy, and Nora loves everything related to the outdoors and animals. We also have 2 rambunctious pups, Rosie and Ringo, who keep our house full of fun, energy and lots of fur! I also love to travel, read, listen to music, and spend comfy nights at home with the family.
I am thrilled to spend this year with the students of 2-3 and can't wait to work with you all and get to know you better.
All the best this year and always,
Ms. Sarah Gale
