ABOUT ME

I am pleased to introduce myself to those of you who may not know me. My name is Megan Whittington and I am thrilled to be teaching at Brookdale Public School. I am a life-long learner and firmly believe that education consists of helping people to learn using the best resources, experiences and research we have available. I consider myself a holistic thinker who is thoughtful, creative and dedicated to helping our children learn and grow into responsible and respectful individuals.

ABOUT MY FAMILY

I have three amazing children - David, who is 21 years old, Naomi, who is 19 years old, and Abbey, who is 16 years old. I am married to an incredible man who helps me so much in creating life balance. I love the arts – especially singing, acting and playing the guitar!

I look forward to encouraging children to enjoy learning and guiding them to understand the criteria for success so that they will develop confidence in themselves, realize how they can contribute to society, and appreciate their own value in the world. I am excited to get to know your child this year and I look forward to working with you to support your child’s learning throughout the year!
