Ms Benson is one of the Visual Arts teachers at Iroquois Ridge High School, and is an Art Lead for the Art & Design SHSM program at the school.
Ms Benson's office is located on the first floor in Workroom 133. Her classes are taught in art classroom 144.

NOTE: Remember that periods 4 and 5 alternate every other week.
With a background in science (specialization in zoology) and fine art, Ms. Benson offers both diversity and integration of the arts and sciences (right brain and left brain). Her education and training were completed at the University of Guelph and Queen's University.
Before teaching, she worked in caring for wild animals (both in a zoo and in a preserve), and worked in a chartered accounting firm. Ms. Benson is a practising artist, working in whatever medium suits her vision. In addition, she has spent many years training as a dancer (ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, and even tribal fusion bellydancing)!
