Hello Super Kid Families!
My name is Tessa Perez, and I am so excited to be the new Grass Valley Elementary School counselor. I am here to help students in a variety of ways from whole class guidance curriculum, friendship groups, to individual counseling and resourcing. This year we are really going to be focusing on our Super Kid High Fives: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, Be There, Be Ready, and Be Positive. We are all going to be working hard to teach and demonstrate these expectations in order to create a positive learning environment. One of the most important parts of a child’s success in school is support of loved ones, and I hope to be able to support you in that endeavor! I am looking forward to working together with this wonderful staff and community to ensure a successful year for our students!
