The staff commits to conditions for powerful learning to guide decisions about our learning community. These decisions include those that guide staff in creating well-designed learning experiences to be maximally effective and engaging for all learners; and, includes common language that functions as criteria for a variety of school actions (designing curriculum, classroom observations, scheduling, professional learning, goal-setting). The GVES staff has developed our own learning principles and collective commitments to guide us in our mission, vision, and decision-making about curriculum planning and instruction.

We want families and the community to be partners with us in our students’ education as you will be an important part of troubleshooting our challenges and celebrating all of our successes.
