Welcome to 7th Grade Social Studies!

In 7th grade Social Studies, we get to study medieval to early modern times in World History! Throughout the course of the year, we will focus on the Fall of Rome, the Islamic World, West African Civilizations, China after the Han Dynasty, Feudal Japan, Korea, Medieval Europe, Renaissance Europe (Art, Reformation, Scientific Revolution, and the Age of Exploration), and the Early Americas.

Materials List

• Binder (with rings) and binder paper - Students may use a binder that is also used for other subjects. However, there should be one divider set aside for Social Studies. Handouts and classwork should be filed in this section.

• At least one black or blue pen

• At least one pencil

• Index cards (note cards)

• Notebook (optional)
