Welcome to 6th Grade Social Studies!

In 6th Grade Social Studies, we get to study Ancient Civilizations! Throughout the course of the year, we will focus on Early Humans, Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Judaism and the Israelite Kingdoms, Ancient India, Ancient China, Ancient Greece, Rome, and the Origins of Christianity.

Materials List

• Binder (with rings) and binder paper - Students may use a binder that is also used for other subjects. However, there should be one divider set aside for Social Studies. Handouts and classwork should be filed in this section.

• At least one black or blue pen

• At least one pencil

• Index cards (note cards)

• Notebook (optional)
