In social studies, students will study the development of our nation up until 1850, with an emphasis on early settlers and others who arrived. They will study colonial government and recognize that our government has gone through a great transformation.

This fall, students will participate in a 'Walk Through the American Revolution'. Students will also be expected to know and recite all 50 states and their corresponding capitals. As a culminating project on the 50 states, students will complete a research report on a state and design a state float for the class parade.
