Welcome to my classroom! My name is Mrs. Nicole McNichol. This is my eighth year teaching at Holy Cross School! I taught 5th and 6th grades for the past 7 years, and I am excited to be taking on a new role as the math support teacher!
I grew up in Clifton Heights, and I attended Holy Cross from Pre-K until 8th grade. I then attended Cardinal O'Hara High School. I received my degree in Middle Level Education from Cabrini College in 2016. I started working here at Holy Cross in 2016 and have been here ever since!
During my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends! My husband John and I have been married for 5 years and we live in Aston. We have a daughter, Gabriella, who is two, and a newborn son named Johnny! We also love playing with our cat, Tabitha! I enjoy relaxing, shopping, reading a good book, spending time outside when the weather is nice, and going for walks! I love to go out to dinner and try new restaurants and foods!
I knew that I always wanted to be a teacher! Not only do I love to teach others new things, but I love learning new things! I have a passion for math, and that's why I was very interested and excited to move into the math support position. I hope to help students not only improve in their math skills, but also find a love for math like I have. My goal is to make my students feel included, safe, and loved. We are going to have so much fun this year!
