This course is designed in part to prepare students for admission to a university. An introduction to Calculus will also be studied in more detail. This course covers a) functions from a calculus perspective, b) power, polynomial and rational functions, c) exponential and logarithmic functions, d) trigonometric functions, e) quadratic functions and relations, f) systems of equations and matrices, g)conic sections and parametric equations, h) vectors, i) polar coordinates and complex numbers, j) sequences and series, and k) limits and derivatives. A graphing calculator is required. In mathematics, we will look at the mathematical beauty of God’s creation. We will integrate mathematical concepts and service projects into our Christian school and community.
