Although I am originally from Argentina, I grew up in Utah and consider it my home. I completed my bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University (BYU) and I am currently a graduate student at BYU working towards a master’s degree in Spanish with an emphasis in pedagogy. I also taught Spanish for 2 years at Providence Hall High School in Herriman, Utah.

My experiences as a student have influenced my philosophy of teaching and learning. As a result, I believe that learning is an emotional experience that encompasses all our senses and past experiences. Another experience that impacted this philosophy was teaching English as a second language to adults in the community.

Even though I grew up in Utah, a state known for the snow, I prefer the spring and summer seasons. I enjoy spending time with my husband and newborn son, as well as camping, hiking, riding my bike, playing volleyball, golfing and anything that involves being outdoors.
