It is up to you if you would like to participate.

This week is outdoor classroom day (May 21st).
Take your learning outdoors. Demonstrate math concepts outside- measure the length of your yard, count how many steps it takes to walk the perimeter of your deck, make multiplication arrays with rocks, put out a container to measure how much rain fell, skip count coins and walk to get an ice cream... Try some art- do some nature rubbings, draw what you see in the clouds, make a collage, observe the patterns you see in nature... How about a simple science project to pass the time? Make a homemade sun dial.

Get outside and get creative! Paint some rocks.
Paint some rocks and leave them for others to enjoy. Send your pictures to your teachers and/or post them in the Edson Rocks Facebook page. You can tag MBE in your post.
