heat experiment 3: Insulate It

- Materials: 2 of the same size bowl/container, ice cubes, different materials to use as insulation (students can be creative here and try different items)
If able, have your student complete the experiment. If your student completes the experiment at home, I would love to see pictures or videos. Feel free to email them to me or send me a message in class dojo! I love being able to see your student doing science at home!

**If possible, please assist your student in completing these experiments at home. I would love to see pictures, videos, and/or results of the students completing these experiments! If students cannot complete these, have them predict what will happen and explain why they predict that- I will share results from myself and other students at a later date.

IXL Science 3^rd Grade D1: Predict Heat Flow (**Tip: heat flows from warmer (bigger number) to cooler (smaller number). If the numbers are the same, there is no heat flow.)
