The University of Hawai'i at Manoa (UHM), Hamilton Library seeks to hire a dynamic and forward-thinking tenure-track Interlibrary Loan and Resource Sharing Librarian.. The successful candidate will manage a comprehensive interlibrary loan resource-sharing program at Hamilton Library, a Tier 1 academic institution and the flagship campus of the University of Hawai'i System.
Under the general direction of the Chair of Access Services, the position coordinates interlibrary and document delivery services for the UHM community to obtain materials owned by other libraries. Additionally, it oversees the service operations to fulfill loan and document delivery copy requests from the UHM collections for domestic and international libraries, as well as independent researchers. The librarian works with a team of resource-sharing staff, including a supervisor and support staff. The position manages consortia partner agreements and maintains key partnerships in the broader resource-sharing community. The position provides oversight of daily operations to ensure efficient services, participates in assessing services, and facilitates improvement projects. The successful candidate seeks to be aware of new developments in systems and methods for delivering timely and efficient access to resources for patrons.
Salary:
B2M11, Commensurate with qualifications and experience (Librarian II minimum $74,891)
B3M11, Commensurate with qualifications and experience (Librarian III minimum $89,858)
B4M11, Commensurate with qualifications and experience (Librarian IV minimum $104,857)
