Kenken was developed in 2004 by (no, not two guys named Ken) acclaimed Japanese mathematics educator Tetsuya Miyamoto. His goal was to improve his students’ math and logic skills. And what better tool than a puzzle? So he developed one that would be understandable, fun, and challenging for people of all ages and skill levels. Most importantly, he wanted the puzzle to encourage independent thinking, emphasizing logic, reasoning, concentration, and perseverance. His puzzles immediately met with unbelievable success and are now used the world over for kids, adults and the elderly. KenKen has proven to be one of the world's best brain exercises for people of all ages, and can now be found in over 200 publications worldwide.

Kakooma helps improve computational fluency and enhance number sense.
Ten Frame Mania exercises your number sense. It helps you understand the cardinality of numbers, how to play with them, and how the different numbers work together.
Math Concentration was developed by NCTM Illuminations. Match whole numbers, shapes, fractions, or multiplication facts to equivalent representations. Practice with clear panes or step up the challenge with windows closed. Web-version Concentration
Create Equivalent Fractions by dividing and shading squares or circles, and match each fraction to its location on the number line. Check your work, and use the table feature to capture results and look for pattern. Web-version Equivalent Fractions
Deep Sea Duel was developed by NCTM Illuminations. Students make use of mental math and develop their strategies in choosing numbers (whole numbers or decimals) that combine to make the target number. Web-version Deep Sea Duel
Pick-a-Path allows the player to choose a path that allows Okta to reach the target (maximum, minimum, or a specific value). Seven levels with seven puzzles will test your skills with powers of ten, negative numbers, fractions, decimals and more which may include up to all four operations. Excellent for mental math and strategically choosing options. Web-version Pick-a-Path
An instructional guide (see attachment) - with details about the math concepts in the app, tips for using Pick-a-Path in the classroom, additional instructional activities, and other useful information - in addition to lessons and other supplemental resources for teaching with Pick-a-Path.
Number Frames help students structure numbers to five, ten, twenty, and one hundred. Students use the frames to count, represent, compare, and compute with numbers in a particular range.
The frames help students see quantities as equal groups of other quantities and in relation to benchmark quantities. This helps primary students move away from one-by-one counting toward more efficient ways of counting and computing. As students advance, custom frames can be constructed to help visualize factors, products, fractional parts and more. Open Web App Number Frames
Math Vocabulary Cards help students deepen their conceptual understanding of key terms in mathematics. Each card features three sections: a math term, a representative example or model, and a concise definition. Each section can be hidden or revealed providing multiple options for practice. Vocabulary cards can be selected individually or by category and switched seamlessly between English and Spanish. Open Web App Math Vocabulary Cards
