Mrs. McIntyre

My name is Mrs. McIntyre. I am the Driver Education and Health teacher at Galena High School. This is my fifteenth year teaching in the Galena Unit School District.

I moved to Galena from Carbondale, IL where I attended Southern Illinois University. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education, with a minor in Driver Education, in 2007. In 2011 I received a Master of Arts Degree in Education, specifically focusing on Curriculum and Instruction.

I am married to my husband, Brian McIntyre, and have three beautiful children; Emmitt(10), Hallie(9) and Ruby(6. We enjoy being active in the community, attending school events, and spending time with family and friends.

I am very excited for a new school year and to embrace all that 20221/2023 has to offer!
