About Me

This my fourteenth year in Greenville County, my first year at Riverside . I grew up on Long Island, NY. It was as high school sophomore that I knew I wanted to teach mathematics. I graduated from Cedarville College in Cedarville, OH in 1984. I taught 21 years in Michigan at Freedom Baptist Schools. It was at this school that I meet my wife, Cynthia, who was a History teacher. It was during our time in Michigan that we had our four children. It was also during this time I earned my Masters in Mathematics Education from Grand Valley State University. I went on to teach two years in Lakeland, FL, then two years in North Carolina before coming to Greenville. In my spare time, I enjoy photography and home renovations. I am also faithful to my church. I love spending time with my family, watching movies and playing games. I have two dogs which I thoroughly enjoy. My wife and I enjoy working with Crockett Doodles.

I am grateful to be at RHS and am looking forward to sharing my love for mathematics.
