· The first 5 days, Aug. 11-15, are a staggered start. Your child will only attend their 1 day. If you are not sure of your child’s day, please let me know. School is from 7:45-2:15.
· Drop off time is from 7:15-7:45 each day. No child is to be dropped off before 7:15. If possible, please have your child on the right side of the car. Please stay in your car while in line, and do not allow your child to get out of the car without a teacher present. If you are late arriving to school, an adult must sign your child in at the office.
· Pick-up is from 2:15-2:30. Parents must sign their child out if they are late. You must have your car dismissal tag to pick up your child, if not you will have to show your ID. Thanks!
· Buses will start running for 4K students on Aug. 18. Please check with me to see if your child has been routed. You will need your bus dismissal tag at the bus stop to get your child off the bus. If you don’t have the tag, you can pull up your child’s number on Backpack. If you are unable to show your child’s dismissal number, your child will be taken to their home-based school, where you will have to pick them up with your tag or ID.
· If there is a change in how your child will be transported home, please send a note or call/email the school. We must know before 1:15 if there is a change. There are NO early dismissals after 1:30, due to bus dismissals starting at this time.
· Please let us know if your child will be picked up by a daycare. You will need to fill out a form letting us know which daycare they will be attending and when they will start.
· If there is a change in your address or phone number, please let us know so we can update your information in PowerSchool.
· If your child is sick with a fever or stomach virus do not return them to school until they have gone 24 hours without medication and had no symptoms.
· Breakfast and lunch are provided daily and they are FREE for EVERYONE! Yay!
· Children may bring their lunch to school, but we do not allow them to bring in breakfast. Do not send any candy or soda. We also cannot heat up any foods in a microwave.
· Outside, store bought food is allowed for special occasions. Please make sure they are in the original, sealed packaging.
· Your child will need to bring a book bag and water bottle daily. They do not need any other school supplies. Please do not allow your children to bring their personal toys to school. Also make sure to dress your child in play clothes that can get a little dirty, and sturdy shoe that will stay on their feet (sneakers, strappy sandals, etc.)
· Please send a change of clothing in the zip-lock bag provided to be kept at the school for your child. Please also send a towel or blanket in the other zip-lock bag for rest time. Instructions are taped to front of each bag.
· Please sign up for the Seesaw app as soon as possible, as this is a great way to keep in touch with me and see what your child is up to at school. I will send newsletters and other updates through Seesaw and email. Instructions are in your packets.
