Teacher's Notes
We are talking about Disgust from inside out. It was a lively discussion about things that disgust us! We have watched how Howard Wigglebottoms learned about having good manners. And, that manners mean you care. Have good manners
We will read: Owl Babies, Noisy Nora, Courdoury, Koala Lou and The Stray Dog. All of these books propose the problem of not getting what you want right when you want it! Great Discussions follow!
We are really, really focusing on shapes this week. Also, counting with one to one correspondence. I sent home a number strip and told your children to line up their toys on it and count, play a game where they cover a number and have someone (or them) say what number is missing (or what comes before, after). Number lines are super ways to teach "number sense."
