Since we will be spending the next year together, let me tell you about myself.

I graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. Go Dawgs! I received my master's degree from Georgia Southwestern. I have taught grades K-5 with the exception of 1st grade. I've been teaching for 29 years in public and private schools in Georgia and South Carolina. Daufuskie Island was one of my favorite places to teach. This is my fourteenth year teaching third grade at Woodland. Woodland is a great school and the third grade team is the best.

I grew up in Albany, Ga. but I was born in France. I have 2 daughters- Anna and Paula. Anna is an attorney at Holder Padgett Littlejohn and Prickett. Anna and her husband have 1 daughter, Colette Harper. I am just crazy, stupid in love with her. Paula posts a blog paularallis.com., flips houses with her husband and is obtaining her commercial flying license, obtaining her masters at Harvard and owns Paula Rallis Home on Wade Hampton. She and her husband are expecting their daughter, Sterling, December 1st. They both live in Greenville. Happy Momma!

I enjoy reading, Netflix marathons, going to the Y, gardening, family meals, hanging with my granddaughter, my Beach Sistas, decorating my house, lunches out, shopping at flea markets, traveling anywhere.
