Hello and welcome! I’m excited to share a little about myself. I’ve been happily married to my college sweetheart, Dan, for 19 wonderful years. We’ve built a life together filled with love, laughter, and two amazing boys—Chase, who’s 8 and in 3rd grade, and Liam, our lively 5-year-old kindergartner.
This year marks my 20th year in education, all of which have been with Greenville County Schools, and my 12th year serving as the Instructional Coach at Berea Elementary. Before stepping into this role, I had the joy of teaching 3rd grade as well as 5th grade math and science. My passion is helping students and teachers grow and thrive in a supportive learning environment.
I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and I’m a die-hard Michigan Wolverines fan—Go Blue! Football Sundays mean cheering for the Detroit Lions. Thanks to my husband being from Chicago, I’m also “obligated” to root for the Chicago Bears and Cubs—marriage is full of compromises! I do draw the line at the Chicago Blackhawks though—forever a Red Wings fan!
I am certified in ESOL and excited to be finishing my administrative degree in 2025, which will be my master’s plus 30 credits. My belief is that every kid can succeed, and I couldn’t be more proud to be called to education. Supporting our teachers and students at Berea Elementary is truly a joy and a privilege.
