About MRs. mcmickens

Hi, everyone! I’m Angela McMickens, and I’m honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Northwest Crescent CDC!

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from USC Upstate and my Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Liberty University. Before moving into administration, I had the joy of teaching 4K for seven years. This year marks my fourth year in administration, and I’m so excited for another wonderful year at Northwest Crescent!

On a personal note, I recently got married, and I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter of life! My husband and I enjoy exploring local markets, checking out car shows, and trying different restaurants. I’m also a proud dog mom to my 9-year-old Boston Terrier, Lucy, who brings so much joy to my life!

I’m truly excited about the school year ahead and look forward to getting to know our students and families. I believe that at Northwest Crescent, your child is exactly where they need to be. My goal is to build strong, positive relationships with students and families while helping create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

I’m looking forward to a fantastic school year together!
