Mrs. DeVore

Hello, I am Mrs. DeVore and I am very honored to be your child’s teacher this year. This is my 13th year teaching at Mitchell Road and my 39th year teaching school. I have previously taught kindergarten and second grades, so I know what they have learned and what they need know to be prepared to soar!

I attended Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC where I earned my BA in Elementary Education and Furman University here in Greenville and earned my Masters of Arts in Language Arts Education.

My husband and I are the proud parents of one  daughter who is a graduate of Winthrop University. 

My mission is to provide a positive, safe environment that will produce eager, independent learners with a strong educational foundation. Children will be taught to “Live, Learn and Love one Another” so that they will become productive citizens in our community and in the world.
