Mr. Noel's Weekly message

Good evening Berea High School,

Teachers and administrators have been working hard all summer to prepare for the upcoming school year. We have been planning and preparing to provide high quality education to our students. Coming out of the past year and a half of COVID protocols, eLearning, and virtual school has created a void in many students education. With minimal growth for many students it is even more important to start off on the right foot. This year the expectations will be higher, and students who have not been in school on a normal basis will have to make adjustments.

As we inch closer to the start of the 2021-2022 school year, we have many more activities coming up. Administrators returned on July 26. Teachers will return on August 9. Berea High School along with our partners from the United Way will host our annual Bulldog Blitz orientation on July 12. We will have activities for kids, information from community organizations, had our Chromebooks, IDs, Schedules, and many other activities. Parents will also have the opportunity to sign up for backpack with our staff's assistance. So please make it a point to attend on August 12, 2021. Freshman first day will be on August 16 (from 9-12), and everyone else will return on August 17.

Fall sports will begin practicing on Friday June 29. If your student is interested in playing a fall sport, please contact coach Chisholm. His information is on our website.
