Thank you for visiting my site. As I enter my 12th year as principal of Berea High School, it is hard to imagine that I have been fortunate to lead such a great school community for the past eleven years. It has been a blessing to work with such great teachers, staff, and students. We truly do have the some of the best students in Greenville county. As a native of Louisiana, I have been in South Carolina for twenty-four years. Over those twenty-four years I have become a South Carolinian. I still have may Cajun roots, and taste for spicy foods. As you can see I am a big LSU fan, I was born with the passion for LSU and had a relapse. I do have degrees from Louisiana Tech, and Clemson. As an LSU fan I really don't have a dog in the race between Clemson and USC, but since I have a Clemson degree, I lean a little orange.
We at Berea High School believe that developing the whole child into a productive member of our community is vital to our continued growth. On order to do this, we take time to identify where students are when they arrive, and help them develop career goals that fit their personality, and desires. We want students to focus on implementing an action plan designed to meet their career goals. Along the way we put them in a position to become G+ (college/career certified). We do this by providing dual credit opportunities, a rigorous AP program, industry certifications, like CNA, welding, OSHA, and more.
