During the event of a school closure resulting in eLearning, I want to encourage students to stay physically active. While, students only receive physical education once a week for 45 minutes, I encourage students to be physically active most days (at least 4) of the week, however, for eLearning it is only required for 25 minutes once per week.
Below are some suggested activities and online resources to help students engage in physical activity.
feet together with legs straight
v-sit, down to the right leg
v-sit down to the left leg
v-sit down to the middle
Butterfly (bottoms of feet together with knees bent and feet pulled in close to the body, nose goes down to the toes while knees are pushed down towards the ground)
push-ups
sit-ups
planks
trunk lifts
Mountain climbers
Jumping Jacks
Burpees
Monkey Jumps
Balancing
Yoga
