This is my second year at Summit Drive but I have been teaching for 27 years. I love working with small children and feel it is my calling as a teacher. I have worked as a teacher in K5, 3rd and 5th grades and feel I am most successful teaching the young child. They are little sponges and watching them absorb new information is very fulfilling to me. I have been teaching since 1997 and have spent most of my career in a K-5 or K-4 program. I graduated from Clemson University in 1996, where I earned a B.A. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I finished my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education at Furman University in 2015. I have been married for 27 years to Jeff. We have three children. Caroline and her husband Jonathan, Cain-a senior at Clemson University (GO TIGERS!!), and Macy- a freshman at J.L. Mann High School. We also have dog named Beau and puppy named Brooke. I enjoy cooking and reading!
