Hello! My name is Ms. Kuckhahn! This is my 18th year as a speech language pathologist and my 16th year working at Mountain View Elementary. I love what I do. I first became interested in speech pathology when I was a college student studying biology. I babysat a little girl with a cleft palate and then later a little boy who had a significant brain injury that affected his speech. While in college, I also worked in an assisted living facility with people who had had strokes and other injuries. I went on for my Masters in Speech Language Pathology and graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2007. I quickly came to love working in the schools. I feel can help make a big impact on children's progress through frequent therapy and teacher collaboration. When I am not in school, I enjoy hiking, traveling and spending time with my family. I have three nieces and two nephews whom I adore!
