Welcome to Mrs. Nash's Music Class at Rudolph Gordon

Hello! My name is Heather Nash. This is my 19th year teaching in Greenville County Schools. I grew up attending schools in Greenville County. I taught in Laurens County for 7 years. This is my 26th year teaching Elementary General Music and Chorus. I received my undergraduate degree in Music Education from Winthrop University. I received my Master's Degree from Converse College. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Elementary Music. I am married with two sons and one daughter. My oldest son is a Senior at Clemson majoring in Biosystems Engineering.  My middle son is a Freshman at Clemson majoring in Construction Management.   I am a huge Clemson fan, so this works out well! .  My daughter is a sophomore at Hillcrest and is on the JV volleyball team!   I also love animals and I have 4 "furry friends" at home. Hershey is a mini dachshund who is spoiled rotten and loves to sit in my lap.  Hallie is another dachshund who loves to have her belly rubbed.  Guinness is our Gordon Setter who loves to go on walks.  Maverick is our newest dog, a Boykin Spaniel which is the SC state dog!  He is a wild man and keeps us on our toes.

I enjoy traveling, reading, sewing, crafts, etc. Music has been a big part of my life since I was a little girl. I began taking piano lessons in the 3rd grade, and have been playing ever since. I love it!
