My name is Heather Hester, and I am thrilled to be the Principal of Heritage Elementary School. I am originally from Minnesota, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Spanish at Concordia College, Moorhead, in 1994. In 2002 I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Administration at Furman University.
My teaching experience includes Bilingual (Spanish/English) 1st Grade in Irving, TX; Spanish, Language Arts, and Study Skills at Tanglewood Middle; and 1st Grade at Slater-Marietta Elementary School. My administrative experience includes working as an Administrative Assistant at Northwest Middle, and Assistant Principal at Greer Middle, Blythe Academy of Languages, and Buena Vista Elementary School.
I am married and have two amazing daughters and two big dogs! I am looking forward to a great year of excellence at Heritage!
