For me, teaching is a calling. From a young age, I knew becoming a teacher would be the career path for me. Upon high school graduation, I pursued my dream of becoming an educator. I left college with an MRS. degree and a BS in education!! My teaching experience expands across Georgia, Texas, and South Carolina.
My husband, Clay, and I have been happily married for 30+ years. We have 3 wonderful children 3 amazing in-laws- and 3 exceptional grandchildren <3. Time together is very important to us. If one is involved in a particular activity, we are all there to give our support. Aside from school, I am involved in numerous church activities and travelling to visit family. Saturdays in the fall are spent supporting our favorite team, Go Dawgs!!!!
I am a lover of coffee, watching movies, and curling up on the sofa with a good book!
If you were to take a peak into my classroom, you'd see students being challenged to reach their greatest potential while engaging, collaborating, and participating with other classmates. I have a love and a passion for middle schoolers! Every child has the potential to do GREAT things. As the year progresses, I hope to be instrumental in bringing out those "great things" so that each child SHINES BRIGHT!
