My Educational Philosophy:

I respect the founding theorists that have studied children and development. My personal feelings toward the matter is reflected in Bronfenbrenner’s bioecological system. I believe children are shaped by all parts of life -- internal and external. I am an intentional teacher, and I teach for all facets of life. Children need to know how education is applicable in life. It is my goal to passionately direct and make them aware of the need to progress. During the course of the year, I plan to emphasize success. I plan to define the word and then share different perspectives of it, including the thoughts of the students. The purpose is to create a foundation that will develop into a launching pad for them to develop their own definition. As a result, they need to understand that their definition should include appropriate survival skills and the ability to function as a good citizen.
