About Me

This is my 13th year teaching Physical Education/Health here at Greer Middle School. I am originally from Winnsboro, SC. I earned my B.S from The Citadel in 2013. I have been blessed far more than I deserve with a beautiful wife and a wonderful family.  A little over 8 years ago, my wife and I welcomed our son, Jakyre, into our life.  Jakyre was one of my students at Greer Middle and then one of my players at Greer High before becoming a part of our family.  We also have a daughter that will be 2s year old in September.  Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, watching college football (Go Tigers!) & the Atlanta Braves.  I have traveled to 39 states so far and I would like to see all 50 before it's all said & done.  

 I pride myself on trying to develop a relationship with all of my students and athletes.  I have an open door policy for anyone.  My goal is to get your child to love being active and to realize the benefits of leading a healthy, active lifestyle while also becoming more than competent in a variety of sports and games.

Along with my teaching duties, I also coach high school football. For the previous 10 seasons I have been coaching at Greer High, but I am currently in my second season as the Offensive Coordinator & QB coach at Riverside High.
