About Me

I am a two time graduate of Clemson University. I receive a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2001 and a master's degree in counselor education in 2005. I added on the gifted endorsement to my certificate through Furman in 2012.

I began my career in Spartanburg School District Six, where I was a science teacher for five years. Then, I came to Greenville County as the sixth grade counselor at Riverside Middle, where I spent another five years. This is my tenth year as a school counselor for the Sterling School. I grew up in Spartanburg and graduated from Dorman High School, which is where I met my husband of seventeen years, Mike. We now live in Greer, and Mike is co-owner of The Strike Zone. We have three children, Cooper (13), McKenley (10), and Riggs (6). We also have a super cute, super sweet miniature Goldendoodle named Sadie.

I enjoy spending time with my family, especially in the summer when we spend a lot of time at the beach, on the lake, or by the pool. Much of our lives revolve around sports. When I'm not at school, I am usually taking one of the kids to football, basketball, soccer, or baseball. We also love going to college football games and cheering for the Tigers!

I am very excited about the opportunity to work at the Sterling School with the Charles Townes Center students. I have lots of plans for the upcoming school year, and look forward to all that we will accomplish together!
