My name is Candace (Candi) Bolt and this is my 15th year teaching at Stone Academy. I was a stay-at-home mom for many years before I decided to pursue a career in education. Before that I was an actress performing regularly in local theater productions at the Greenville Little Theatre and Café and Then Some, as well as commercial work. Prior to landing a job here at my DREAM school, I was a computer lab teacher and then a kindergarten teacher at Paris Elementary. I have a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in English, Journalism, and Psychology from USC Upstate as well as a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. In addition, I hold an M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning, and an M.Ed. in Literacy and ESOL, both from Clemson University~

I have such a passion for teaching and helping children achieve their goals. I can’t imagine doing anything else with my life!
When I’m not at school I spend every moment I can with family and friends, including my beloved Aussiedoodle, Winnie. I LOVE being a mom and a teacher. My hobbies include walking, hiking, biking, traveling, drinking coffee at The Village Grind, attending concerts, reading, writing, being “crafty”, and (of course) ALL things Clemson (Did I mention GO TIGERS?;-)
