All About Me

I am so happy to be in my 14th year teaching at Chandler Creek Elementary. By wearing many hats as a 2nd grade teacher, Special Education and Reading teacher, I have been in nine different classrooms in every grade level hallwayin the building! In addition to an Elementary Education (1st-8th) degree from Kent State University, I have a Reading Endorsement (K-12) from John Carroll University and a master's degree in Special Education (K-12) from Cleveland State University. Earning an IMSLEC (International Multi-Sensory Language Education Council) certification in the Orton-Gillingham method and most recently, Reading Recovery Teacher certification from Clemson University has empowered me to help students improve their literacy in reading and writing. This school year, I am a Resource Teacher.
