I am so excited to return to  Plain Elementary School for the sixth year! Prior to Plain Elementary, I taught gifted and talented students in grades 2-8 in Lugoff, SC for fourteen years. During my 37 year career, I also taught special education, third grade, kindergarten, middle school STEM and middle level related arts! I earned certifications or endorsements in Elementary Education, Special Education, Project Lead the Way STEM, Gifted/Talented, and  Literacy. I am also a certified Literacy Teacher. 

I love my family, especially my husband, Ed, a retired principal and current real estate agent. I also love my daughters, Ashton and Claire, son, Ward, son-in-love Jeremy, daughter-in-love Brittni, son-in-love Jonah, and my precious grand babies, Malachi and Callie! In my free time, I love to read, bake, exercise, go to the beach, paint, spend time with family and friends, and drink delicious sweet tea! I am confident that this is going to be an incredible year in CHALLENGE at Plain Elementary School! Go Pandas!
