Education

I graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor's of Arts in Public Relations & Marketing. My Masters in Teaching is from Pacific University. This will be my 23rd year in the classroom! I've taught in Oregon, Texas, Kentucky, Alabama, and South Carolina. My degree is in Early Childhood and Elementary Instruction. I also hold a Gifted & Talented distinction as well as an ESOL certification.

My family is very important to me. My husband, Shaun and I have been happily married for 22 years. We have two children, Levi (15) and Lexi (13), who you will definitely hear all sorts of stories about. Levi will be a Sophomore at J.L. Mann High School this coming year. Lexi will be in 8th grade at Fisher Middle School. As a family, we enjoy lots of adventures. Our favorite activity to do together currently is playing pickle ball. We also love visiting the Whitewater Center in Charlotte.
