I am exciting about the 2024-26 school year at Riverside High School! A little about myself...
I was born and raised in Inman, South Carolina, where I graduated from Chapman High School in 1994. I graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education/Mathematics in 1998 and with a Masters degree in School Counseling in 2003. I taught math at Byrnes High School from 1998 until 2002 and worked in the School Counseling office at Byrnes for the 2002-2003 school year. I was a counselor at Berea High School in 2003-2004 before going to Greer High School from 2004 - 2007. I spent two years at Travelers Rest High as a School Counselor from 2007 - 2009. I had the opportunity to become the School Counselor at Bonds Career Center in 2009, where I worked until 2018 when I moved to Enoree Career Center to serve as the School Counselor until 2024.
My past work experiences have led me to my current position, Testing Coordinator at Riverside High School. The tradition of excellence will continue, and I will strive to make the testing process as seamless as possible.
My husband, Doug, and I have been married for 27 years. We have a daughter, Leah, who graduated from Clemson and is a Civil Engineer in Greer. Our son, Luke, is in the 11th grade at Blue Ridge High School. We enjoy Clemson football, Braves baseball, and traveling.
