About Our Educator

Teresa joined Parents as Teachers in 2019. She has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Music Performance. She has experience working with homeless individuals, children and youth in Foster Care and has worked in the field with ID/DD. Teresa lives in Chanute. She has 2 wonderful Nephews and 2 Great Nieces. Jazzy, the Chihuahua also has her place in Teresa’s home. 

Trudy joined Parents As Teachers in 2023. She has a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Career and Technical Education, and an Associates Degree focusing on physical therapy. Her professional background is in physical therapy; however, she has worked in education from Special Education to the post-secondary level. Trudy and her husband have three children and two grandchildren.
