Step 1: Learn what a GMO is and explain how they are created.
Step 2: Learn what organisms are genetically modified and explain why.
Step 3: Research information based on the respective role that you chose while completing this assignment.
Step 4: Participate in a verbal debate with a classmate on GMOs. Support the position you have chosen. This isn't to be an argument, and your goal isn't to convince the other person that you are correct. The purpose of this debate is to find holes in your argument. To find weaknesses in the presentation of your position. The idea is to hear the arguments of those opposing you so that you can address those specific arguments.
Step 5: Design a flyer/pamphlet in Google Draw or Doc that could be handed out to persons living in your area providing them with accurate information. You will include your personal stance on GMOs.
Step 6: When submitting your assignment, write a short reflection to the teacher describing your personal experience with this project.
