Being in a performing ensemble is a great opportunity to make friends, be involved in school activities, and learn teamwork, discipline, and hard work.

String Orchestra

String Orchestra is the 9th grade orchestra class at Hunter High. If you have experience playing a string instrument, you want to play in a group, and you are looking to improve your skills as a string player and musician, then this is the class for you. You will have the chance to perform 2 to 3 times during the school year. This is also an excellent way of making new friend.

Concert Orchestra

Concert Orchestra is the 10th-12th grade orchestra class at Hunter High. This class if for string players that already have experience playing a string intstrument. If you want to further your skills on a string orchestra and perform more mature orchestral literature, this is the class for you. You will have the chance to perform several times during the school year including a region festival. This is also an excellent way of making new friend.
