I am originally from Northeast Nebraska and I graduated from University of Nebraska at Kearney. This year will be my seventeenth year at Gretna Middle School and serve as my nineteenth year in the teaching profession. Before Gretna, I taught two years in Houston, Texas. I truly love math and all of its occurrences in real life.
I realize that math can be frustrating for some students so I am ready to work as a team to make sure your student understands math and its importance. Students are always welcome to come in before and/or after school without prior notification. I can offer homework help, study sessions, or just a place to work.
I hope you find that the above links are useful in preparing for the week, learning more about a current topic, learning more about my classroom, and especially helpful when absent.
I have high expectations for your child, and I will be doing all that I can to help him or her achieve those expectations. I expect students to be respectful of each other and their teachers; I expect students to be responsible for their actions; and I expect students to work hard on their schoolwork. In addition to my expectations of my students they can expect from me to be prepared for class each day, do my best to make class a positive learning environment, and treat students with respect.
If you have any questions or if any problems arise, please contact me at school. I will be glad to speak with you if you just give me a call or send in a note. Also a wonderful way to contact me during the day is by emailing me at kkeller@gpsne.org
ONCE MRS. KELLER'S STUDENT,

WHAT IS POPULAR MAY NOT ALWAYS BE RIGHT.
IT MAY NOT ALWAYS BE EASY,
BUT IT WILL ALWAYS BE POSSIBLE.
