The mission of the Gretna High School library is to be a space that is open and inviting to all students and staff. The GHS Library prepares students to be global citizens, independent readers, and creative humans. Collaboration and inclusion are the tenants of the GHS library program.
Gretna High School students are able to check out five library books at a time for three weeks. Students may check out books before school and after school. During the school day, a pass is needed from their classroom teacher. Books are checked out for three week periods and may be renewed if needed.
We are open before school at 7:20 and after school until 4:00 every day school is in session.
