Curriculum

Reading & Analysis: Exploring fiction, non-fiction, poetry, drama and paired-passages while mastering inferencing, key idea, author’s craft and other reading skills.

STAAR Writing Focus: Developing Extended Constructed Responses (ECR) and Short Constructed Responses (SCR) using text evidence.

Language & Editing: Polishing sentence variety, grammar, mechanics, and academic vocabulary.

Real-World Skills: Inquiry-based research, critical thinking, and collaborative discussions.
